Escrow, deposits and the all-in price.
1 How do payments work?
The plan is a deposit, then progress and final amounts. Stripe escrow is on the way. Until then a booking request asks hello@handnorth.com to hold the visit by hand. We will not take a card number on this site today.
2 What is the all-in price?
One number: labour, the visit and tax. GST+QST in Quebec is 14.975%. No commission inside the job. No “plus materials later” unless the quote says so in writing.
3 Can I pay in cash?
No. Cash off-platform is not how we work. It leaves both sides without escrow or a record.
4 How do refunds work?
Cancel free up to 24 hours before a confirmed visit. Card refunds start when Stripe escrow is live. After work starts, a person reviews the job. Write Contact or hello@handnorth.com.
