1 What is HandNorth?

2 How is HandNorth different?
One all-in number (work plus Quebec GST+QST 14.975%), 0% on the completed job, a Quebec file, and five visit cities. Catalog listings and live Work stay apart. Verified waits for a person. Read Why HandNorth or the page on all-in price.
3 Is HandNorth free to use?
Posting a project and creating a Hire account is free. The price you approve is all-in: the work plus tax. Pros pay a subscription; new Pros get 6 months at $0, then the package they picked. There is no commission on the job. See pricing.
4 What areas do you serve?
We open in Montreal first — including Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and Terrebonne. Other Canadian and U.S. cities follow when the bench is real. See service areas and five live cities.
5 How do I create an account?
Use email on Create account. Choose Hire if you need work done, or Work if you are a pro. Google and Apple sign-in are on the way.
6 How does HandNorth ensure the quality of professionals?
Catalog listings are not identity-checked the same way. A live Work account stays on review until a person writes — we will not auto-stamp Verified. Licence and insurance are required where the work needs them — including RBQ for regulated building work in Quebec. Eligible professionals also show CNESST. Reviews come from real visits. 7 Can I use HandNorth on my mobile device?
Yes. The website is a PWA: add it to your Home Screen. On-site alerts work on this device. Server push and a native iOS / Android app are on the way — leave your email on the homepage waitlist if you want that link first.
8 Where are the hiring and pricing guides?
