Six months at $0 on the file, then the package you pick
New Pros: months 1–6 sit at $0 on this file. Then you pay the plan you picked. Stripe Checkout takes a card for CAD packages; the intro is a Stripe trial. Book and job money still do not charge.

Clear price.
What does six months at $0 actually cover?
The founding intro is for new professionals on their first HandNorth application. Months 1 to 6 are $0 on that file. After that, the package on the file is the public price: Starter $29, Growth $59 or Pro $99 per month in CAD, or the yearly equivalent with 20% off. Switching Starter, Growth or Pro does not restart the six months. Business is not on intro and is not self-serve — Contact sales. Extra city, team seat, placement and newsletter add-ons are extra and are not part of the six months. Stripe Checkout bills CAD packages and add-ons in the cabinet. Book and job money still do not charge a card. If a Work cabinet already has a plan on file, we will not backdate intro. Homeowners still pay 0% of the completed job. A booked visit is live in Greater Montreal only.
Jobs this rule applies to
These six Greater Montreal job pages use the same all-in quote, catalog label, and visit cities. Each spoke has its own copy.
Who gets the six months?
New Pros on a first application. If a Work cabinet already has a plan on file, we will not backdate intro. Switching the package later does not restart the clock.
- First application file only
- Months 1–6 at $0 on that file
- Then Starter, Growth or Pro at the public price
- Business is a conversation — not on intro
What the package includes after intro
Pro already covers all five live cities. The extra-area add-on does not add a sixth city. There are only five live cities today. Extra-area on Starter or Growth adds one city, up to five.
| Plan | Public month (CAD) | Live cities |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | 1 of 5 |
| Growth | $59 | Up to 3 |
| Pro | $99 | All 5 live cities |
| Business | Contact sales | A conversation, not self-serve |
What we will not pretend about billing
No card is charged today. Saving Starter, Growth or Pro writes the package on the file. Stripe subscription billing is on the way. We will not auto-charge after month 6 until that rail is live. Taxes follow billing location when checkout ships.
How to pick a package for five live cities
There are five live cities: Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and Terrebonne. Starter is one city. Growth is up to three. Pro is all five. The extra-area add-on adds one city on Starter or Growth, then clamps at five. Pro already has all five — extra-area does not invent a sixth city. Detail is on five live cities.
Team seats, placement and newsletter are add-ons. They are not part of the six months. Switching Starter, Growth or Pro during intro does not restart the clock. The then-price becomes the new package on the file. Public numbers and yearly 20% off live on Pricing.
What happens after month 6
When Stripe subscription billing is live, the package on the file is the amount that will charge. Today we do not run that rail. We will not print a trial clock, a “days left”, or an auto-charge we cannot move. A person will write before we take a card. Saving a plan in Plan & add-ons only writes the file.
0% on the completed job does not end after intro. Intro is access. The job stays without a platform cut. See 0% on the completed job. Apply on Become a pro.
Questions on this rule
Does intro include add-ons?
No. The six months are the base plan only. Extra-area, team, placement and newsletter are extra.
Can I switch plans during intro?
Yes. Switching does not restart the six months. The then-price becomes the new package.
Is Business on intro?
No. Business is Contact sales, not a self-serve checkout, and not part of the founding intro.
Does yearly billing get the six months?
The six months are $0 on the file either way. Yearly 20% off is the then-price after intro, billed by Stripe as a yearly CAD total.
Can I pause after intro?
Write hello@handnorth.com, or cancel the extra on Plan & add-ons. A Stripe Customer portal opens when that feature is on the Stripe account.
