Are HandNorth assembly packages an IKEA partnership?
HandNorth sells furniture assembly and TV mounting as packages with one all-in number: the visit plus Quebec GST and QST at 14.975%. Typical packages cover a small piece, a table, a wardrobe, a 3-piece bedroom, and a TV up to 55 inches or 75 inches. Extra pieces, a second trip, wall work or a larger set is a change order you Accept. HandNorth is not an official IKEA partner and does not carry an IKEA partner stamp. Pros assemble furniture from IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon or a warehouse when the quote says so. Catalog cards still mean Request a visit. Live Work sends a written quote. Stripe card pay is on the way. Full service pages sit under Services: furniture assembly, IKEA assembly, TV mounting, handyman, plumbing and home repairs. A booked visit is live in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and Terrebonne — not in Toronto or a U.S. city yet.

What a package includes
The public “from” number is all-in for that package in a live Quebec city. It is not an hourly rate that starts when the pro parks.

HandNorth is not an official IKEA partner. We will not put a partner badge on a package to look like one. Pros can assemble IKEA furniture, and furniture from other stores, when the quote covers that visit. The brand on the box does not make HandNorth a partner of that retailer.

Change orders on packages
A second wardrobe, anchors the wall cannot take, or a TV larger than the package is extra work. The pro writes a change order. You Accept. The original package price does not quietly grow.
How to book an assembly or TV visit
On a catalog card, Request a visit. On a live Work account, compare the written all-in quote, then hire. Photos of the boxes, the wall and the room help.
