Why HandNorth · 10

Post once. Quotes. Hire one. Not sold to three neighbours.

Homeowners post once. Pros send a quote on that job. We do not sell the same contact to a stack of contractors. That is the opposite of pay-per-lead.

Do you sell my job as a shared lead?

A HandNorth job is one project on one file. The homeowner posts once in a live visit city. Professionals who cover that city can send an all-in quote. The homeowner hires one. We do not sell that phone number or email as a lead pack to three neighbouring crews. Pros do not pay per contact. They pay for access: a plan, six months at $0 for new Pros, then the package. While quotes are open, messages stay with the pro who received them. After award, only the hired visit writes. 0% on the completed job. Card billing is on the way. We will not dress a shared lead as a marketplace. Catalog Request a visit is not a blast to every van on the South Shore. A booked visit is live in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and Terrebonne. Find elsewhere does not turn a Toronto search into a sold contact.

Jobs this rule applies to

These six Greater Montreal job pages use the same all-in quote, catalog label, and visit cities. Each spoke has its own copy.

Marketplace vs pay-per-lead

HandNorth A shared lead
One job file The same contact sold several times
Quote is your price on that visit You buy a name, then chase it
Hire one; one thread after Several crews calling the same kitchen
Access plan, 0% of the job Pay per contact, often on top of a cut

What Pros actually buy

Access: live cities, job opportunities in those cities, a listing, messages. Not a stack of exclusive-sounding leads that three other vans also bought. New Pros: six months at $0, then Starter, Growth or Pro. Stripe Checkout bills CAD packages; Book still does not charge.

What homeowners actually post

One form. Photos, city, the work. Quotes come in. Hire one. You are not paying us to spray your number. If a listing comes down mid-thread, we tell you. Report goes to a person at hello@handnorth.com.

Several quotes on one job is a marketplace. Selling the same contact as a lead pack is the thing we do not do. We will not dress a shared lead as exclusivity. Apply on Become a pro or post a project.

What we will not sell

  • The same phone number to three neighbouring crews
  • A pay-per-lead button next to “exclusive job”
  • A homeowner fee to “unlock” Pros
  • A 70-city lead map we do not serve

Questions on this rule

Do you sell the same job to several Pros?

No. One job, quotes, one hire. We do not sell the homeowner’s contact to a stack of neighbours.

Do Pros pay per lead?

No. They pay for access. 0% on the completed job. See public pricing.

Can several Pros still quote?

Yes. That is a marketplace. Selling the same contact as a lead pack is the thing we do not do.

Is the homeowner’s phone sold with the job?

No. Chat stays on the thread. We do not sell that contact as a lead pack.

Do I pay to see a job in my city?

Access is the plan, not a per-job unlock. Job opportunities follow the cities on your file.
