No. Catalog listings show licence and insurance where we have them. A live Work account stays on review until a person writes — we will not auto-stamp a Verified badge. RBQ is required when the job is regulated building work in Quebec.
What documents are required?
Government ID, proof of liability insurance, and a trade or RBQ licence when the job is regulated. Eligible professionals also show CNESST coverage. A person reviews the file. Booking can start before every document is stamped.
Is my payment information secure?
Stripe card pay and escrow are on the way. A booking request today does not take a card. A person at hello@handnorth.com can hold a deposit by hand. Cash off-platform is not how we work. Cancel free up to 24 hours before.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Open Disputes or Report a problem on the job. A person acknowledges within one business day and writes a decision within seven days. There is no chatbot. Stripe has not held a card yet — we will not invent a refund we cannot move. You can also write us from Contact.
Do you work across Quebec?
Booking is live in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard and Terrebonne. Quebec City and Ottawa follow when the bench is real, not when a pin looks good on a map.
